If you made any alterations or had someone else work on your hair afterward, it can affect the overall result. I want to share my story so others know what’s going on with this salon. I originally made an appointment with Kim, the owner, for curly hair extensions. However, she assigned me to Destiny, who I later found out is her daughter. A few days before my appointment on 03/01, Destiny texted me, saying she would be at a different location and provided the address for Mane Garden at 13037 W Linebaugh Ave, Tampa. During my appointment, she convinced me to set up an Afterpay account and charged me the full amount for the hair—without even showing it to me. My next appointment was on 03/08, and she had different hair than what we originally discussed. I requested a slightly lighter shade to blend naturally with my hair, but when I arrived, I immediately noticed the extensions were silver-white and did not match at all. Destiny kept insisting that they would blend after installation. Since I don’t have experience with extensions, I trusted her. Once the hair was installed, it became obvious that the ends didn’t match. However, the salon lighting made it difficult to see the true color. When I stepped outside, the difference was extremely noticeable. I was so embarrassed—I couldn’t even go out to dinner because it was obvious I had cheap, mismatched extensions. And I was charged $600 for this. I texted Destiny about the issue, and she had me come back, where she attempted to color the extensions and she also cut my natural hair withouth my permision because she was trying to match them.When she recorded the video at the salon, my hair was still wet, making it difficult to see the true color. However, once it dried, it was clear that the color did not blend at all.However, the hair started to falling and they were not holding-pls see my picture. However, they still didn’t match. I reached out again, and she scheduled another appointment by herself for partial highlight**per app confirmation—this time with her mom’s salon, Privily Salon with Gina. Even then, they were unable to match the color. I have all the pictures as proof.I was forced to pay additional $180.It was 9pm and she was rushing to kick me out from the salon and again she was telling me they will look the same it's just the lights atthe salon and it's dark you can't see it-just take a look on my picture if the hair are blending. Destiny later tried to manipulate photos to make it look like the hair matched, but I have the original pictures with dates and timestamps. When I confronted Kim, she was extremely rude, told me to go to other salon, and even claimed that Destiny no longer worked there and instead worked for Shannon at Mane Garden. I have all the text messages and appointment confirmations proving that this salon was responsible for this mess. I have also filed a complaint with the Florida Board of Cosmetology to revoke both salons’ licenses and stop them from scamming people. Everything I have stated is 100% true, and I have all the evidence to back it up.

Privily Beauty Bar is hands down literally the best salon I have been to. My hair has never looked better and the environment is unmatched. Kim has my unwavering loyalty. She has worked a miracle in my life for sure!! I feel amazing!!

I had the pleasure of going to get my hair wash blow dryer and color corrected and had Destiny as my stylist , she was great company and professional. She listen to me and my specific request . I highly recommend her !

I recently decided to let my silver grow out and I have long hair so for a while there it was half silver and the rest was a mixture. Kim and Destiny have helped me with the transition and even squeezed me in on my birthday. Each time I was in a very private room with nice music and a relaxing atmosphere. (They know how to make a girl feel special.) I have gotten so many compliments on my hair, especially right after my last appointment! I included a picture of my birthday night driving to dinner.
